Family Assistance Program
Raising the House offers emergency financial assistance to families in the Palmerton area that are seeking support with financial hardships.
Qualifications
To qualify for possible assistance from Raising the House, the family in need must have a registered student in the Palmerton Area School District and be facing a serious hardship (i.e. house fire, major medical condition, etc.).
*Assistance will not be given for rent, mortgage, or tax payments.
Applying for Assistance
If you or someone you know qualifies for consideration, complete either the online or paper application below. If you're completing a paper application, please email to assistance@raisingthehouse.org or mail it to​ PO Box 58, Palmerton, PA 18071.
The Board Members of Raising the House will meet and review the application. We will notify the family if assistance can be given.
