Raising the House is proud to host it's annual 5K! Funds for this event support the mission of the Raising the House organization, to provide financial assistance to students and families within the Palmerton Area School District while honoring the memory of Blaine House.

Join us on May 9th, 2026 for our annual Raising the House 5K Run/Walk! Run or walk with friends, on a team, or with your furry companion!

The funds for this event support the mission of Raising the House – to provide financial assistance to students and families within the Palmerton Area School District while honoring the memory of Blaine House.
The Raising the House 5K run/walk was the first event created in memory of Blaine House. The reason for its creation was two-fold:

Honoring his passion for fitness and excitement in taking another step forward.
Carrying on the memory of the educator that had such a profound effect on the several hundreds of students that he touched over his many years of teaching.
