Scholarship Award

The Raising the House scholarship is awarded to the Palmerton senior or seniors who best exemplify the mission of Raising the House in their every day lives. Each year, the RTH board selects its awardees from a pool of anonymous essays written by former Towamensing Elementary students. 

This year's scholarships were awarded to Julia Blose & Chris Walkowiak. Julia will continue her education at Florida Southwestern State College for an Associates Degree in Radiology.  She will then further her education  to study Nuclear Medicine.  Chris will be attending Cornell University majoring in Computer Database.
